Leading for a course – The Monarch – 劫财 (“Jie Cai”)
Recently a worried father came to me.
Father: “My son’s university results have not been turning out well. He is always busy with online games and social media. I am worried that he might not do well when he is out in the working society. Could you please help him?”
Me: “Sure, I’ll do my best. By the way, what’s your expectation/definition of doing well when he joins the workforce?”
Father: “Well, perhaps getting a decent job with a good salary in a big company. Boss appreciates his effort and treats him well. Hmm…maybe pay is not so important in the beginning.”
Me: “I see… fair request. What if I tell you that your son will do better if he performs on stage, takes a lead role and has tons of followers instead of working in a 9-5 job? Would you consider that as doing well in society?”
Father: “Well, I have never thought of that so far….”
Many times we shape our beliefs based on our encounters and experience. We create the impression that the world must function and behave in a certain way because it is what we were told or used to be. We do so because it “feels” safe, comfortable, known and easy. However, history has also proven that greatness stems from the ability to be bold and be different.
A person with a 劫财 (“Jie Cai”) – Bazi Structure would thrive in a place where leadership ability is in demand. They function well to rally a huge number of people for a course. They like to win, lead and command a crowd. These people can influence a huge number of people by their message, talents, ideas, songs, performance or their pure mesmerizing charisma if they are nurtured, trained and harness well. They can gather people, resources, and funds because they dare to challenge the norm. Their charisma and competitive spirit influence and bring out the energy within others. Traditionally, they are known as The Monarch – 君.
In school, a place that fosters students to voice and gather people for a course would help to nurture the innate talent of a 劫财 (“Jie Cai”) – Bazi Structure person. Co-curricular activities that promote people to lead and bring groups of people together for the betterment of society would benefit the growth of a 劫财 (“Jie Cai”) person. A platform that allows them to present and inspire others is important for them to spread and share their message. Having said that, one should keep a close watch on people with this profile as they may rally people for a wrong course.
